If you ever wanted to add a graphic display to your embedded application, but were intimidated by the complexity of controlling these displays then we have the perfect solution to your problem.  We are now offering 18 new models of graphic display controllers that will allow you to command these displays with only a few lines of code.  Our new line of graphic display controllers were designed to make the industry's finest displays easy to use.  

Our controllers initialize the display of your choice, and load a user-programmable startup image when power is first applied.  Use your favorite paint program to generate graphics, fonts, and small graphic segments called "Icons".  Then use our NCD Image Loader Utility to permanently store your graphics in the display controller's non-volatile EEPROM.  Use simple commands to recall stored images and fonts.  Use icons to create fancy borders, small animated buttons, or even large characters.  

Use the RS-232 serial port on your computer to store images into our controller.  Use the RS-232 serial port on your embedded system to recall store images on the display screen.  Our new line of graphic display controllers is fully compatible with the Basic Stamp and any embedded system capable of sending ASCII character codes at 9600, 19.2K, 38.4K, or 115.2K baud. 

Our new line of displays were designed to be fully upgradeable.  If you ever find a bug in our controller, send us a bug report and we will fix the problem as soon as possible.  Send us your controller and we will update the firmware for free (customer pays shipping both ways).  The latest version of the NCD Image Loader Utility will always be posted on our web site.

Touch screens will be made available for some LCD displays by the middle of 2001.  We have definite plans for adding touch screens to our line of 240x64 and 240x128 graphic LCD displays.  We do not plan to offer touch screens for any other display at this time.
