We have just taken Network Communications a Huge Step Forward
For several years now, NCD has been the Only maker of a powerful Ethernet Relay Controller, but now it's time for a New Generation of Controllers. We have just taken Network Communications a Huge Step Forward by Offering a Low-Cost and a High-Power Network Communication Solution.
Introducing ZETH; the Ethernet Network communications Module from National Control Devices. Designed to plug into NCD Surface Mount devices, two powerful Ethernet network communication options bring you device connectivity from anywhere in the world. Our first generation of Ethernet relay controllers was based on the Digi Connect ME Ethernet communications module. This is a great low-cost solution that has empowered our users since 2005, and is now repackaged into the ultra-small ZETH-ME communications module. The Digi Connect ME firmware allows you to login to the device and setup powerful network communication options. Though it does not offer a web browser interface for relay/device control, it does offer many powerful connectivity options for advanced networks at a very low cost. ZETH-ME supports Virtual COM Port Ethernet Communications, Direct TCP/IP communications, or direct communication to SignalSwitch.com. ZETH-ME is only capable of handling only one of these communication options at a time, but can easily be reconfigured if you prefer to change how you communicate.
ZETH-NET is our own breed of Ethernet communications. ZETH-NET is an Open-Source project that offers a powerful web-browser interface for direct control of relays from a web-page served directly to users from the ZETH-NET module, without the need for a server. ZETH-NET is accessible from anywhere on your local area network. If you have a static IP address, ZETH-NET is accessible from anywhere in the world. In addition to a web browser relay control interface, ZETH-NET devices also allow you to control the device from your own software through direct TCP/IP communications while still hosting a web browser interface. Write software that directly accesses the controller or access the control from your web browser. ZETH-NET also supports a simultaneous connection to SignalSwitch.com, allowing you to control the ZETH-NET from our server, your program, or your web browser...all at the same time. As an Open-Source project, you can customize the interface as needed using .NET development tools. The Open-Source project for ZETH-NET opens December, 2010.

Contact Closure Inputs Control Contact Closure Outputs in a Remote Location
|
The MirC Series Relay Controllers are ready to go to work immediately out of the box. No Computers, No Configuration, Just Simple, Reliable Wireless Communications between two devices that permanently work together as a married pair.
MirC controllers allow contact closure inputs to control contact closure outputs in a remote location using wireless 2-way communications. The sending device is equipped with contact closure inputs, used to control relays on the remote device. Both sender and relay controller are included when you purchase a MirC pair.
The sending device is also equipped with LEDs that display the status of the remote relay. Status information is verified using 2-way wireless communications. If communication is lost between the remote relay and the sending device, the sending device will turn off the LED. Additionally, every MirC controller is equipped with a Busy/Ready LED. If the Busy LED flashes, this indicates the remote device has successfully received and accepted your contact closure status. If the Busy LED does not flash, the remote device is out of range.
MirC devices are only sold as a permanently married pair, pricing shown on our web site indicates pricing for the pair of controllers. Contact Closure Inputs may only be connected to switches, buttons, or sensors with Contact Closure capability. Not suitable for use in voltage detection applications. MirC devices use 802.15.4 two-way communications to ensure the remote device is properly functioning.
If you require relay control on both devices we offer the
MirX Series Controller. The inputs on one controller activate the relays on the remote device using wireless communications. The "X" in MirX refers to the crossover. Since both devices are equipped with contact closure inputs and relays, each device targets and controls the remote device.
MirC Series Features:
- Long Range Wireless Operation
- Sold in Pairs
- Contact Closure Inputs on Sender
- Relay Outputs on Receiver
- Sender Displays Status of Remote Relays
- 2-Way Communication with Verification
- No Configuration
- No Computers
- No Programming
|

MirC Boards will be available in 1, 2, 4, and 8 channel relays and are always sold in married pairs feature SPDT & SPST relays and are available with the same number of contact closure inputs/outputs as there are relays installed on the remote device. |
