ZB ZigBee Wireless Mesh Networking is simply the hottest wireless technology of our time. Period. It's fast, it's very easy to use, highly reliable, and self healing. Three components are required for the ZB ZigBee Network, the Coordinator (C), the Router (R) and the Endpoint (E). Your computer can speak to a ZB ZigBee Network using a Coordinator. Think of the Coordinator as the interface to a ZB ZigBee Network. NCD Coordinators are equipped with a USB Interface. USB Coordinators mount as a Serial Port on your computer, and you will develop software that sends Serial commands at 115.2K Baud. The primary job of a router is to bridge the wireless gap between your computer (the Coordinator) and the device (Endpoint). If the Coordinator cannot speak to the Endpoint device because it is out of range, a Router can be used to bridge the two devices together. Endpoints are simply devices. With regard to NCD products, Endpoints can be relay controllers, data collection devices, PWM devices, and much more (and more coming). Summary of ZB ZigBee Wireless Mesh Networking A Coordinator Connects to your Computer A Coordinator is used to communicate with a ZB ZigBee Wireless Mesh network A Coordinator can talk to up to 8 Endpoints or Routers in any combination A device is an Endpoint If a Coordinator cannot talk to an Endpoint because it is out of range, a Router can be used to bridge data between the Coordinator and the Endpoint A Router can also be an Endpoint device, but it's slower SignalSwitch Compatible


8 Channel ZB ZigBee Relay Our 8 Channel ZB ZigBee Relays feature SPDT or Solid State Relays installed. Controllers are available with your choice of eight channel 8/10-Bit Analog to Digital Conversion or UXP Expansion Port on selected models (UXP Port is available on Solid State models only) and all are of course SignalSwitch compatible. All 8 Channel ZB ZigBee Wireless Mesh Networking Relays feature the ProXR Command Set and an XR Expansion Port. Built from the ground up with expansion in mind, simply Chain the XR Expansion Modules to the XR Expansion port, one after another, to meet your computer controlled switching requirements up to 256 relays. ZB ZigBee Coordinator (Required) Plug a ZB ZigBee Coordinator into the USB Port of your computer. The Coordinator will be used to communicated to your wireless ZB ZigBee network. The Coordinator will mount as a COM port on your PC. Open the COM port and start sending data to the Coordinator. The Coordinator will forward your data to any or all devices on the ZB ZigBee Mesh Network.
