As you may have noticed on our web site, we are gearing up our product line to offer Fiber Optic communications as a standard option for our relay control devices.  We expect to begin shipping the 32 Channel Fiber Optic Relay Boards in July of 2008.  Fiber Optics are very easy to work with, even if you are a first time user of this technology.  There are three primary advantages that Fiber Optic communications brings to our product line, advantages not possible from other technologies, Noise Immunity, Lightning Protection and Futureproof.

Futureproof

Recognizing the need to electrically isolate and distance mechanical relays from a computer interface, our Fiber Optic Relay Controllers will offer all the virtues of relay control in a new, Fiber Optic Relay “Futureproof” design.  Simply choose your interface (USB, Ethernet, WiFi, 802.15.4 Wireless, RS-232, Bluetooth to Fiber Optic converters are currently being designed), then choose your relay controller (2, 4, 8, 16, 24, and 32-Channel DPDT and SPDT versions to be released).  Marry the interface to the controller via a 2-way fiber optic connection, and you will enjoy the benefits of superior EMI and lightning protection, a futureproof modular interface, and of course, high speed operation.

Latest Advancements

All out Fiber Optic Boards will contain the latest advancements is signal switching as part of our ProXR series of controllers!  The ProXR Series is capable of controlling up to 256 relays.  Weather you need power switching or DPDT signal switching, the ProXR Series are built from the ground up with Expansion in mind.  Simply Chain the XR Expansion Modules, one after another, to meet your computer controlled switching requirements.
