Control this Device Remotely from Anywhere in the World

Control this Web Relay from anywhere you can get an internet connection and on any device with a web browser.  That means that your computer, PDA, cell phone, iPhone or iPad becomes a remote control for this device! This new services is available through our website Link.Signalswitch.com. Here's how it works, each .NET module has a unique MAC address printed on the top and you can simply enter http://link.signalswitch.com/MacAddress into the URL. Example: http://link.signalswitch.com/00409D43F71C and then type in the password. It's that simple, after a few moments you will be granted access to the controller. A static IP address is NOT REQUIRED for remote access and the device and computer MUST have separate internet connections.

You can Demo This Interface Now at http://www.signalswitch.com:8080/ and control a Live Board here in our office.

Control this Device from a Local Area Network

This device can also be controlled over a Local Area Network. You may need to log into your router to find the IP address. Take note of the MAC address printed on the top of the .NET controller. Your router will display a list of IP addresses and associated MAC addresses. Take note of the IP address that matches the printed MAC address on your controller. Open any web browser and type the IP address into the URL.

ProXR Lite Relay Controller

The ProXR Lite Series is a great alternative for those looking for a low cost solution that requires the power and reliability of a ProXR Controller. With a wide selection in Relay type and Communication Interface there is a ProXR Lite board to match your application. Every ProXR Lite Board has Breakaway Tabs that give you the option to make the board smaller or fit it for an enclosure. Interchangeable Interface Modules allow you to switch communication interfaces by simply powering down the device and replacing the module.

The ProXR Lite series are based on the same designs that offer a 5 year warranty. However, in an effort to further save cost, we have limited the warranty of the ProXR Lite series controllers. ProXR Lite series controllers are guaranteed ONLY against manufacturing and functionality defects for a period of 30 days. Controllers that are damaged by our customers will not be warranted under any circumstances. ProXR Lite series controllers are designed for long life; however, should they be damaged, they should be discarded and replaced.

Unlike the ProXR series relay controllers, ProXR Lite series controllers are NOT expandable. The firmware still thinks 256 relays are available, however, the relay portion of the controller only responds to the first 1, 2, 4 or 8 relays in Bank 1. We did NOT skip the Analog Input portion of the ProXR Lite. All ProXR Lite controllers offer a 8-Channel 8/10-Bit Analog to Digital Converter in addition to relay control. The ProXR Lite responds to the same firmware as the ProXR series controllers and is therefore 100% compatible with any applications designed to work with a ProXR series controller (click here to see the ProXR command set).

A/D Conversion on the R420PL_ZETH-NET

Analog to Digital conversion is available on the R420PL_ZETH-NET controller.  Analog to Digital Conversion allows you to read voltage levels from 0-5 volts using 8-bit or 10-bit resolution.  A/D Inputs are useful for reading, temperature sensors light level sensors, thermocouples, switch closures, or just about any other kind of sensor you can think of.  Built-In Pull-Up/Down Resistors keep the inputs quiet.  Eight Different A/D Sample programs are available in the NCD Component Library.  These samples are available as a free download and are compatible with Visual Studio.   We've got sensors!  Visit our Sensor Page for sensors that have been tested and work with the R420PL_ZETH-NET controller.

ZETH-NET Web Relay Features

ZETH-NET is an Open-Source project that offers a powerful web-browser interface for direct control of relays from a web-page served directly to users from the ZETH-NET module, without the need for a server. In addition to a web browser relay control interface, ZETH-NET devices also allow you to control the device from your own software through direct TCP/IP communications while still hosting a web browser interface. Write software that directly accesses the controller or access the control from your web browser.

As an Open-Source project, you can customize the interface as needed using .NET development tools. The Open-Source project for ZETH-NET opens December, 2010.  We have an Expected ship date of June 15th for the new ZETH-NET module.  You can preorder the ZETH-NET module for this controller when you place this controller in the shopping cart.  Use the chart below to compare features of the ZETH-ME and ZETH-NET Ethernet Modules.
