ProXR - The Most Powerful Relays Available!
This ProXR controller is built with the most powerful command set available anywhere. Put simply, ProXR is a standardized set of commands for controlling relays. This controller is also equipped with Analog to Digital conversion which is simply converting a voltage in the range of 0 to 5VDC into a number that can be processed by custom software that you develop. The applications are limitless and the data that you receive such as light levels and temperature levels can easily activate relays when A/D levels are reached. See more on A/D Conversion below.
This ProXR Lite series controller connects to the RS-232 port of your computer and requires a 12VDC Power Supply. Once powered up, the relay controller waits for a command. A command consists of a few bytes of data. Usually between 2 and 6 bytes. Once the command has been received, the controller processes the command, and sends you back ASCII character code 85 to signal the completion of your command.
The features list of the ProXR series controllers is extensive. Our ProXR Software helps get you acquainted with the powerful command set. To download, look for the ProXR Software in the Resources section to the right and bottom of this page. The ProXR Manual and the mechanical drawing with dimensions and hole layouts can also be found in the Resources section.

Choose the connection that fits your needs. The ZRS-A connection is recommended for applications where hard wiring directly to the board is needed. ZRS-B has the fill 9-Pin RS-232 connector on the board. The ZRS-AB Has the fill 9-Pin connector but is is located off the board for applications where the board may be place inside an enclosure an the RS-232 connector needs to reach to the side of the enclosure. You can choose one of these connection options at checkout. |

This device has SPST relays installed. SPST Single Pole Single Throw Relays simply connect two wires together. The Common (COM) is the moving part of the relay that comes in contact with the Normally Open (NO) when the coil to the relay is energized. For more information on selecting the correct relay amperage for your application see Choosing a Proper Amperage.
Base Station will assist you in learning how this device functions and is the ultimate reference tool for setting up, testing and controlling this device. Base Station software supports every feature of this device - no other controller manufacturer even comes close to offering this type of software. Base Station works by communicating with your controller to identify the model and provides the appropriate graphical user interface for setting up and testing the identified device. To help you get started and learn this controller Quick Start Guides are available for just about every feature. As you discover a feature in Base Station a link is provided where you can easily download the Quick Start Guide.
RoHS CompliantN-Button Lite creates up to 8 buttons or widgets to control relays without any programming. A new button will be created and placed on the desktop of your computer for each relay that you want to control. N-Button Lite supports Serial Port/ USB and Network connection between PC and relay board. N-Button Lite Manager makes it easy to add any type of button to the desktop and change the properties.
Analog to Digital meters can also be added to your desktop to instantly read the status of any sensor or probe you may have connected to the board.
