Configure or Take Control with Bluetooth Wireless
Relays Trigger When Sensor Limits Reached or Override with Computer Control
Reliable Switching With or Without a Computer
This Reactor Relay is equipped with 8 Analog Inputs that can read switches, resistance changes, or voltages from 0 to 5VDC. Once the limits are reached from the settings you configure the relay will trigger. It's that simple. If the controller remains connected to a computer a computer can trigger relays, timers or events that are stored on the controller for computer control without programming or overriding the analog inputs.
You can expect this Reactor Bluetooth device to function properly in most applications up to 100 feet with the Basic Internal Antenna option. The Enhanced Range External Antenna will give a range of up to 300 feet. The default option is the Basic Internal Antenna and the Enhance Range Antenna is available as an option during checkout. We currently do not support any Bluetooth Communications on mobile device platforms other than Windows Mobile devices.
Intelligent Switching without a Computer is the foundation of the Reactor Series relay controllers. The Reactor Series will help you activate a switch when it gets dark outside. If the door has been left open, it will close automatically. When the temperature falls, another switch is triggered. If motion is detected, a light will turn on for a preset time. When soil in the ground is too dry, a switch will be activated that can save your crops, save your energy, save you a trip to the field, and save you money.
Input configuration tab of the included software - view entire screen shot.
The configuration software makes it easy to configure each relay. Relays or multiple relays can be can be assigned to each input.
Please Note: Analog inputs can accept voltages from 0 to 5VDC ONLY. Higher voltages and negative voltages will damage the Reactor controller. Users must NEVER apply a voltage to an analog input on the Reactor controller when powered down.
Please Note: All customers are STRONGLY ADVISED to purchase at least ONE USB Communication Module (Part Number ZUSB). This communication module may be used to recover a controller or to reconfigure a controller should there be an accidental loss of communications. NCD Tech support may be unable to assist customers who do not have a USB Communications Module available for troubleshooting purposes.
Mechanical Relays have a good home in low-cost control applications. But for some users, only solid state switching will do. Solid State Relays are ideal for users who require long term reliability, silent operation, or high induction tolerance. Many inductive control applications require a solid state relay. Inductive loads such as Motors, Valves, Pumps, Solenoids, and Large Transformers (including Fluorescent Lighting) benefit from the use of solid state relays because they reduce the chances of the inductive load interfering with the logic of the relay controller.

| NOTICE: Solid State Relays are Silent and Offer Extremely Long Life, but May Not Function Properly when Subjected to Radioactive Environments. Forced Air May be Required to Achieve Maximum Load Rating. NCD does NOT Recommend Driving any Relay at Maximum Load. It is Not Possible for NCD to verify Manufacturer Claims of Load Ratings. NCD Solid State Relay Controllers have NOT been Tested at the Rated Loads. Solid State Relays must be carefully selected, AC and DC solid state relays cannot be used interchangeably. Solid State Relays Require a Minimum Load, and will NOT Function Correctly Unless Minimum Load Requirements are Met. External Snubber Circuitry May be Required for Certain Applications. If a Device Turns On, but Does Not Turn Off, this Usually Indicates a Need for a External Snubber Circuit. This May Indicate Minimum Load Requirements Have Not Been Met. Please Research Crydom Solid State Relays or be Familiar with this Technology Prior to Purchase. Please Consult Crydom Engineers to Determine the Best Relay for Your Application www.crydom.com. | |||
